About Natalie: Born and raised in Sudbury. Married and mother of 3. Worked at an office job all my life, but was always passionate about “pretty and nice things” including flowers. Crafting was my favorite past time. Inspiration to open my business: My grandmother passed away just 4 months short of her 100th birthday (in December 2020). I loved her dearly and all I could offer for her celebration of life was to hand make the floral arrangement that held her urn. It was my absolute honour to do this for her and I soon realized that she was my inspiration to start following my dream. For months, I had a constant voice inside me telling me to just “go for it”. I was already working a full-time job, and I didn’t really know where to start, but my first thought was to google “how to make a website”. And, so it began. I spent every spare minute after work learning how, and building my website (one small step at a time). Hours upon hours went into its creation. I began establishing suppliers and researching the market. What I learned is that there was a lot more work that needed to be done before I could open. I dug my heals in and set a goal to open on November 1st, 2021. Proudly, but with balanced humility, I did just that and Gratitude Florals & Gifts ONLINE was launched. In July, 2023, I opened a trial retail store in the New Sudbury Centre. In January 2024, I moved to my new and permanent home for Gratitude Florals & Gifts located at 1210 Lasalle Blvd (Place de Leon). What sets us apart? We are the ONLY Flower & Gift Shop in Greater Sudbury that is open 7 Days a week, AND delivers 7 Days a week.
